Al Fateh signs Maurice Watson

Maurice Watson

Al Fateh Al Hasa (SBL) signed 32-year old American point guard Maurice Watson (178cm-75kg-1993, college: Creighton) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He played last season at Red Rose Thunder (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In two TBT games just recently, he had very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.0apg, and 1.0spg. He also played for Rebels in the U.S. semi-pro league TBL.
Watson is a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Belgium (Antwerp Giants), Holland (ZZ Leiden), Israel (Maccabi Effie Capital Rishon Le-Zion), Italy (Forli), Poland (Twarde Pierniki), Romania (Voluntari), Turkey (Gemlik, Gaziantep and Erokspor) and The Basketball Tournament (Brotherly Love and Big 5). He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish TBL All-Domestic Players Team in 2025.
His team reached the Turkish League Semifinals in 2024.
He graduated from Creighton University in 2017 and it'll be his ninth season as a pro player. Watson played also for Boston University for 2 years.
